Howard Stern On Demand:
FMQB Broke this story
TVBarn.com is saying last week's reports are true that Howard Stern is indeed planning to take the televised version of his radio show to a pay format, much like his impending jump to Sirius. Sources tell TV Barn that Stern will make an official announcement this week that he has signed a deal with In Demand Networks for an On Demand subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) version of his show. The company is said to also have exclusive rights to Stern's video archives of his E! TV show and syndicated shows, as well as the new Sirius radio show.
On this morning's program (8/1), Stern mentioned he had hoped to make an announcement today about where his show will end up on television, but had to hold off until everything was finalized.
