BBC RADIO 1: Starting Soon on Sirius

My sources have told me that Sirius has been having some problems getting BBC Radio 1 Ready to roll. The has been some problems with getting the song info so your display will give you the right info. I have been told it is fixed or is working "good for now". The date I'm hearing is Aug 8th for BBC Radio 1 to hit the air. Look for some PR on this after the Q2 numbers on Tuesday Aug 2nd.

Great blog, Damian. It's great to have a Sirius blogger with an inside source. I'm definitely looking forward to the premiere of BBC 1 - it quickly became my favorite station during my time in London along with Radio 6. Hopefully if this deal works out, they'll be able to add Radio 6 in the future. Keep up the great work! Your blog is definitely being added to my favorites!
I know there is some worry that Sirius will get the rep as BBC radio America and sirius can not have thier own music station... , but I agree BBC radio one is a top pop/dance station but the rest of the BBC's are good in there format..
